Cut Lengths:
No end seal applied

Coatings:

Plain (PEW):  No coatings applied.

Copper Flash Coating (CEW):  Steel tubing is coated with copper to a thickness of £ 0.1 micron.  Copper flash coating does not offer corrosion protection and is applied to outside diameter only.

Nickel Plated (NEW):  Use of a pre-plated nickel strip is used in the production of this tube.  Nickel plating is on both outside and inside diameter.  This tube is normally specified for fuel carrying applications, but can be expanded to other areas.

Corrosion Protection:

Tubing is coated with a rust inhibiting solution of Naphtha 142 and Steelgard 20-M-1.

Traceability:

Records are kept which allow for the traceability of tube coils back to the steel heat number, master coil number, and mult. from which tube was produced.

Tests and Inspection:

Outside diameter, wall thickness, rockwell hardness and weld bead height (where appropriate) are statistically monitored to ensure adherence to tolerances.  Expansion tests are performed to verify
